Golden Japanese Nails with Konad S4, Milani Gold Glitz

These are my last set of japanese nails I think haha :) This is Milani One Coat Glitter in Gold Glitz, stamped with Konad S4 in red and black. On the ring finger is China Glaze Snow and an OPI red from a holiday collection.

I really like this one. Milani One Coat Glitters are STUNNING, probably my favorite polishes of all time. This gold one is my favorite. It has a hint of copper glitter in it so its not just a flat gold. More after the jump!

OPI Stranger Tides Nail Skittles!

Hello there! I went shopping with Rebecca from Rebecca Likes Nails and her friend Emma recently, and I picked up the Stranger Tides collection from OPI and a few from the Anchors Away collection from China Glaze. I loved the colors when I saw them in person, I want the other pink from their line too :(

I had been planning this skittles mani for a while (which is why the crowns are unrelated to stranger tides hah), but I wanted to use my new Stranger Tides polishes so I just used these colors. This is my first skittles, they're kinda hard to come up with! I'm hoping I'll get better at them as time goes on. I liked the hand on the left in the first picture better than the one on the right. As always, more pics after the jump!

Japanese Cherry Blossoms with Konad S4 and M66

This is one of my favorite creations yet. It's China Glaze's Snow stamped with M66 cherry blossoms in China Glaze Sugar High and Konad red stamping. The ring finger is a base of OPI Glitzerland with Milani Jewel FX in Gold over the top.

Red Japanese Print with Konad S4 and BM11

Hey all. This is a reddish japanese design. In the bottle the color looks coral, but on the nails they are definitely red.

It's Essie's California Coral stamped in black with BM11 and white with Konad S4.

Pastel Japanese Print with Konad S4 and M66

Hi there! This is an absolutely beautiful combination of colors that is flattering on any skin tone. It's China Glaze's Something Sweet from the Up & Away collection, stamped with China Glaze's Peri-Wink-Le and Konad's white stamping polish. The image plates are M71 and S4 from Konad.

First of the Japanese nail designs! Konad S4 and BM20!

Ok this is the first in my set of Japanese/Oriental/Chinese inspired nail designs. I bought the Konad S4 and the Konad M66 and I couldn't find that many pictures done with them so I decided to do them myself!

I'll be doing a few of these, and if you try them please please take a picture and show me! You can link your blog in the comments if you have one or just email them to me.

And here it is! More pics after the jump.

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Rockstar Pink and China Glaze Crackle

I'm not on the crackle bandwagon, I must admit. I've tried it over most things and I just can't get into it. I'm not a fan of black nail polish and that's all I can see when I look at it. I like the look of it in the pictures though.

Milani Jewel FX Gems plus China Glaze Lemon Fizz

Lemon Fizz is a streaky mess.Yes I said it. Lemon Fizz is from the Up and Away collection from China Glaze, and I find that all of the pastels were incredibly streaky and hard to apply. The pastel yellow, peach and mint green looked so beautiful in the bottle but absolutely horrendous on my skin tone. My sister has a paler skin tone with pink undertones and they looked nice on her, so if you're paler don't let me put you off.

But good news for olives, I found a way to make Lemon Fizz wearable! Introducing Milani Jewel FX Gems. It is apparently a fairly close dupe for Deborah Lippman's Happy Birthday. I didn't think I'd like it that much but it's actually pretty cute looking! This is 2 coats Lemon Fizz and 1 coat Gems.

Fairy-tale combination! Peri-Wink-Le and Make a Comet-ment

Hello! I've been busy trying to make this blog look unique and interesting yesterday and today, but I'm taking a break to show you one of my favorite combinations.

This is one of the prettiest nail layering combos I've ever come up with - there's something fairy-like about it, it's beautiful. Really hard to capture on camera though.

It's 2 coats of China Glaze's Peri-Wink-Le and 2 coats of Nicole by OPI's Make a Comet-ment. They are both beautiful on their own, and I was surprised how nice Peri-Wink-Le is on me. Lots more pics after the jump!

Hello World!

Hi everyone! Welcome to my nail blog. My name is Nina, and nails are a big passion (read: obsession) of mine. I'm hoping to deliver some interesting nail designs and feature great nail polishes and combos on this blog. I have an olive skin tone which tends to suit some colors and definitely not suit others. For those of you with olive-toned skin like myself who want to know what nail colors look like on this tone, this is the blog to follow!

I am hoping I'll be able to update every few days most of the time, although during intense school times I may have to post less often. For those of you addicted to nails like I am, regular updates are important and I'll try to post as often as I can!

I don't have an actual camera right now - I have to use my boyfriend's iPhone 4 to take pictures, and my iPhone 3G the times when he's not around hahah. This means for a short while some of the pictures may not be of the best quality or may be taken in the best light, but I am hoping that I will be getting a good camera in the next few weeks.

Thanks for stopping by, and keep checking back!
